Edit rules schema
- Schema > Rules Schema > View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions
- Rules Schema Edit > Rules Attributes > View, Add, Edit, and Delete permissions
After you create and save an attribute, you can edit select configurations within the attribute. To prevent any disruption to existing decision tables, Genesys Cloud prevents you from editing certain fields of the attribute. The following limitations apply:
- You cannot edit the key of an attribute.
- You can edit the minimum and the maximum values of an attribute only in a way that expands the range of the attribute. For example, for a number attribute, if the existing minimum value is 3 and maximum is 10, you can edit the minimum value to lower than 3 and maximum value to greater than 10.
- You can edit the name of the enum options within an enum attribute. You can add new options; however, you cannot delete an existing option.
- Hacer clic Administración.
- Under Rule-Based Decisions, click Rule Schema. The Rule Schema page opens. This page lists all the schemas in the org.
- Select the schema you wish to edit. The schema table lists the available attributes.
- Select the edit icon on the attribute you wish to edit. The attribute panel opens. Make the changes required and click Update.
- Click Save. After you save the schema, Genesys Cloud increments the version number of the schema.
Note: Any existing, published decision table linked to a schema being edited will not be impacted. The updated schema will be linked to the decision table only if you edit the decision table and save it.
